The Junior Royal Academy of Music 2017 season ended with the annual concert at the Pizza Express Jazz Club, Soho and it was my last performance with the group before going off to College in Basel. Gareth Lockrane has been an inspirational and supportive leader and player over the last two years and i’ll be sad to move on.
The concert featured the legendary guitarist Jim Mullen (Pete Brown & Piblokto!, Brian Auger’s Oblivion Express, Kokomo, Morrissey–Mullen and toured with the Average White Band and has played with many more).

With Harry Brown (alto sax) Brinley Heywood, Finn Bradley (trumpets) Matthew Cook, Theo Hayles (tenor sax) Rosie Taylor (guitar) Timur Pak (piano) Dan Laurie (bass) and Junior Academy alumni guest star drummer Luke Tomlinson.
